1. In order to confirm the client complaint, you test the vehicle on a smooth road, preferably with a slight slope. Set the speed control between 35 and 40 mph, and monitor the engine speed, the use of the vehicle tachometer or use the HDS snapshot of engine speed. 2. • If you find little or even no impurities in the sieve, the ATF is burnt OK, even if it smells, is discolored, or the magnetic drain plug has fluff onto small chips, flakes or metal.
