Here are tips on how to install iPhone 4 battery that requires minimal disassembly. The Guide contains step-by-step, divided into 6 part which gives you an easy way to install the battery of the iPhone 4.
Step 1
before you disassemble your iPhone, make sure that your iPhone is turned off.
-Remove the two Phillips screws 3.6 mm near the dock connector.
Apple has recently replaced the two Phillips screws screws 5 points with "Pentalobe". If your iPhone 4 has 5 screw points "Pentalobe" instead of Phillips, see the second image.
-Remove the two screws of Pentalobe 3.6 mm next to the dock connector.
Step 2
-Push the rear panel to the top edge of the iPhone.
-The Panel will move approximately 2 mm.
Phase 3
-Remove the back panel from the iPhone.
Step 4
-Remove the single screw phillips 2.5 mm, ensuring the battery connector to the logic board.
Step 5
-Opening tool for iPod carefully unplug the battery connector from the ends up closer to the top and bottom edges of the iPhone.
Step 6
-Use pull-tab transparent plastic to gently lift the battery of iPhone.
-Be careful when you remove the battery with the plastic pull tab. On some units, Apple uses an excessive amount of glue, making it virtually impossible to remove the battery in this way (with the tear tab maybe due to excessive force).
-For batteries "stick", you can use iPod opening tool to assist (take extra care while doing so).
