Steering column disassembly caution: remove not the steering column, steering wheel and airbag module as Assembly unless the vehicle unless the column is locked to prevent, that the rotation or the lower end of the steering shaft is wired to the steering wheel this prevent because the air bag sliding contact is damaged.
1. Battery ground cable (14301) separate. See you in section 02. 2 Remove steering wheel (3600), as described. 3. Remove the steering column from vehicle as described. 4. Remove the steering column lower yoke (3N725), steering column upper bearing spring (3520), height sensor control (3-131) hook and steering column with tolerance ring (3 L 539). Steering to reduce column 5. Remove cancel cam (13318) turn indicator by drives this with flat-bladed screwdriver. Note direction flush surface. 6. Remove the Insert the ignition switch (11572). 7. Remove bearing holder (3 610) and steering column upper bearing spring. . Remove steel column bearing ring tolerance for steering wheel and steering column bearing sleeve (3518). 9 Remove you plastic bearing holder in cylinder diameter of ignition switch lock. 10 Remove you metal steering column lock housing camp (3E700) of the cylinder diameter of ignition switch lock. 11. Note position of the steering column lock lock gear (3E717) to the actuator.
