Set the speed control between 35 and 40 mph, and monitor the engine speed, the use of the vehicle tachometer or use the HDS snapshot of engine speed. 2. If the speed of the motor varies several hundred revolutions per minute while maintaining a constant speed of the vehicle, detach the EGR valve and retest the vehicle. • If the fluctuation is gone, relate to AGR troubleshooting in the service manual.
• If the engine speed still varies, and transfer any other symptoms, that (move problems, slipping transmission DTCs) go to step 3 3. Drain the transmission fluid, then root paint it through a sieve.
• If you find little or even no impurities in the sieve, the ATF is burnt OK, even if it smells, is discolored, or the magnetic drain plug has fluff onto small chips, flakes or metal.
